
RampUp Recap: A Healthcare Marketer’s Perspective
Last week, our Omnichannel Enablement Lead, Amy Melser Fishman, was on the ground in San Francisco, attending LiveRamp’s #RampUp2025. At this premier event for data-driven marketers and media owners worldwide, she had the opportunity to hear from experts on the latest trends in AI, data privacy, measurement and more. Here, she shares some key takeaways for healthcare marketers.
As we know, agentic solutions are rapidly reshaping workflows while driving speed and accuracy. AI-driven tools are revolutionizing marketing as we know it, modernizing media planning and creating net new advertising experiences. Agencies, manufacturers, data service providers, and others are leveraging agentic solutions to improve outcomes.
2. Privacy is paramount
The rise of the agentic solutions makes data privacy practices all the more critical. State-level data privacy regulations are on the rise. Healthcare marketers may already be familiar with Washington state’s My Health My Data Act, which protects personal health data outside of HIPAA. Since the Act’s enactment in March 2024, we have seen more and more states adopt regulations to safeguard unconsented direct-to-consumer (DTC) health data. As agentic solutions proliferate, data privacy needs to stay at the forefront of healthcare marketers’ strategies.
3. You can’t manage what you can’t measure
The lack of standardization in measurement was a frequent point of discussion. Leading marketing teams are collaborating with analytics teams to more accurately assess performance and extract deeper insights to guide strategy and outreach approaches. Sharing a complete story of the customer journey, delivered through an omnichannel strategy, is now best practice in healthcare marketing.
4. Connection is key
Lastly, the RampPups were a hit at the conference, with long lines forming around the venue for the chance to cuddle with these adorable puppies. The RampPups perfectly embodied the core message for all attendees: the importance of connection in an environment awash with knowledge and insight.
